While most of the recycled bottles I use get melted into tiny teardrops, I do use the bottles even more directly in a few of my jewelry designs. Taking a slice from the neck or lip of a bottle makes a perfect circle - perfect for hanging teardrops from! The Meteor Earrings and Pendant, Comet Earrings, Gyroscope Earrings, and Perseid Necklace all use these circles as a dramatic foundation for bigger, bolder jewelry than the majority of my designs. But, since they're made from recycled bottles, they're only available in bottle colors - Water (Bombay Sapphire Gin), Cobalt (Skyy Vodka), Kelly Green (Reed's Ginger Brew), Coca-Cola (yes, really!), and Brown (Racer 5 beer). (And because of the sizes of the various bottle necks, the Gyroscope Earrings are only in Water and Cobalt.)
