His arm is corrupted since he has found his way out of the "simulation". The arm literally GROWING out of his back is a corrupted part of his "code" that kinda just grew out of nowhere after an identity/existential crisis. That back arm has a mind of his own and Redbo cannot control it (it's probably his inner demons lmfao)
