Redge has no will to live yet he cannot stay dead because of the Save-point/human soul mix that's stuck in his eye socket since it basically just resets him and brings him back to life with the sole purpose of bringing him more pain and suffering which is what Frisk wanted in the first place. Redge is a character who kills himself on a daily basis because he has nothing better to do, his whole world was reduced to a blank white void with him and his house sitting in the middle of it, he's spent so long alone in this empty place that he's gone insane but he hides it beneath an aloof facade. Think of him like a coin, a coin has two sides and so does he, his true colors show when he snaps and his mask falls. He likes to keep up a lazy and uncaring appearance but deep down the metal clang of his revolver soul aches with despair. Redge wouldn't be able to go to the Omegatimeline because there'd be humans there and he'd have a psychotic break and try to kill them all so that wouldn't work. If he got taken in by Nightmare he'd laze around as much as possible, what're they gonna do kill him? He doesn't care. And I doubt the Star Sanses would be able to handle him unless they have hella patience that's IF Redge lets them get close enough to him.
