#RedRising is a fast paced read that you need to be fully locked in or else you will be lost (like I was for a quarter of the story 😂) It took me awhile to finish it.
But the world building is insane!

Brauch grad mal bisschen Pause, aber heute Abend geht's dann weiter mit der Tetralogie von #RedRising, sprich Teil 4-7, wobei Teil 7 wohl erst nächstes Jahr erscheint.

Muss übrigens meine Kritik am Iron Rain und der Schlacht komplett revidieren. Hab den gestern sogar zwei mal gelesen und super viel markiert, weil es SO GUT geschrieben war teilweise.

Die Kampfszene im dritten Teil, wo sie gegen die riesige Flotte von Octavia au Luna kämpfen, ist zum Beispiel sehr viel besser, weil Brown es irgendwie hinbekommt den Fokus anders zu setzen als beim Iron Rain. #RedRising
Dementsprechend kam ich gestern auch beim Lesen nicht weit, weil ich mich beim ersten mal schon so durch den Iron Rain quälen musste.

Bin jetzt bei #RedRising auch an der Stelle, die ich nicht so mag. Ich mag den Iron Rain nicht.
Browns Prosa ist einfach nicht gemacht für Action und große Szenen. Er überbrückt es ganz gut, indem er die Gefühle von Darrow währenddessen beschreibt, andere Situationen kann er aber definitiv besser.
Couple friends have been trying to get me to read Red Rising for a while now......I finished the first book in a day....I now own all 6 and am almost done book 2......If anything happens to Sophocles I will end everyone around me and then myself.
