#fantasyromancewip could be considered a romantasy, i guess, but not really. it doesn't follow many of the subgenres tropes, i think.

the pitch:

a young boy is saved from the wild hunt by the god of the forest. more than a decade later, he is a hunter with the weight of his dying village on his shoulders when a second meeting with the god of the forest changes everything - again #rensprojects

it's supposed to be a loooong, sprawling story, which is why i'm putting it off until i'm a better writer.

...which leads us to my *actual* current project: #fantasyromancewip! like i said, it's set in the same world as #antisnowwhite but earlier in the timeline. and its a romance! #rensprojects

current nickname for this project is #antisnowwhite and... well, it's exactly what it says in the name. main characters are inspired by fairy tales (just inspired!! this wip is not a retelling) with the protagonist being the titular snow white... a very angry, transmac, vengeful one #rensprojects

the pitch:

in a world that was once covered and ruled by a magical, bloodthirsty forest and its monstrous inhabitants, a young prince is exiled to its borders for mysterious reasons. ten years later, he finally manages to escape. his goal now is simple: get his throne & kingdom back #rensprojects
