Four firefighters posing in a small, old fashioned kitchen, one holding Notty, who got down or fell into a vertical shaft coming down from the attic, and got herself somehow wedged into the base of a lath and plaster wall behind the stove in our kitchen. They had to cut her out!
Looking down into the vertical shaft from the attic that she got into. She entered the small slot to the left and somehow fell upside down to the bottom of the wall and got stuck.
The hole that was cut in the old lathe and plaster wall behind the stove to extract the cat. She was upside down at the bottom.
The fire department had to yank out our stove and cut a hole in the wall to rescue our cat Notty, who had somehow gotten down from the attic, fallen, and wedged herself UPSIDE DOWN
