"We are moving into a new and revolutionary era. An era where the youth are rising up faster than grass grows in the spring. A time where economic repression of the masses and exploitation of land and resources have hit a critical point. A time where wars are not being tolerated anymore. A time where workers aren't waiting for their unions to organize a strike. A time where strikes are the largest we have seen in history. We are changing the narrative from 'it's just how things are' to 'we will not accept this anymore.' During a time of global pandemic, the masses have connected, and we are rising. Which side are you on?"

I had an absolute blast at the Consortium on the Revolutionary Era this past weekend. I presented research on human trafficking (that was well received), I saw friends and colleagues, I ate good food, and I experienced a new city.
