The #EndangeredSpeciesAct was signed into law on #ThisDayInHistory in 1973 by #RichardMNixon. The law has infuriated capitalists ever since, even with all the exemptions and work-arounds in it. #Nixon, who was vice-pres. to #Eisenhower, is well left of the Democrats who followed.
