Rigid Heddle loom, warped with a mix of mohair and silk in navy, ice blue, quince, and dove blue. (Knitting for Olive) Two inches of warp remains behind the heddle. The weaving ends 4 inches in front of the heddle.
This project was sidelined when the Great Restoration began. After receiving the incorrect width of steel cable for the third time, I went back to something I could control. This will come off the loom tonight.
Also, for a slap dash direct warping job, I'll take that!

Quite chuffed with these Sweet as Pie dish towels. They washed up nice and soft, but the waffle weave didn't shrink down as much as I'd expected. Maybe it needs a few more washes?

Yesterday I did the final hem stitch on this #handwoven cloth and took it off the rigid heddle loom. The fancy row of Spanish lace doesn't look like the photo in the book, but I still like it. The cloth looks lovely, and I think it will make a nice purse.

Fiber crafts tend to proliferate. I started as a knitter, then took up spinning. Then I bought a blending board and started blending my own batts for spinning. Here’s the latest! (Loom is a 15” Cricket from Schacht, bought used. Yarn is acrylic.)
