Wow, Stars of Iniquity (a #RogueTrader supplement) has...quite an in-depth system for generating planets and running colonies.
Threw out some great ideas though. I love it when my brain pattern recognises a bunch of random rolls into something coherent.

Screenshot of the game Rogue Trader. It's running on a vertical monitor. The initiative icons on the left of the screen are pretty small, but everything seems to have adjusted to the screen. 2 player characters are huddled behind an overturned desk. One of the characters is in the middle of planning their move toward several enemies in a carpeted hallway.
So Rogue Trader has MAJOR co-op issues. We couldn't even get through a single round of combat without it desyncing.
We think we found a fix, by forcing both computers to 60fps, with VSync off.
