Visit to the ETSI Navales (School of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering) of the Technical University of Madrid (UPM) by a delegation from the Royal Thai Navy, headed by the Director General of Personnel of the Royal Thai Navy, Vice Admiral Kriddakorn Homsuwan, accompanied by staff from the Embassy of Thailand in Madrid. The delegation was received by the Deputy Director for Institutional Relations, Mr. Julio García Espinosa, accompanied by the Commander and Director of ETSIAN (Escuela Técnica Superior de Armas Navales), Captain Concepción Rodrigo Bayo, Aeronautical Engineer, representing the Spanish Navy; the Deputy Director and Head of Studies, Mr. David Díaz; the Deputy Director for Academic Strategy, Professor Antonio Souto, who is also Director of the towing tank of the School; as well as the Coordinator of the Master’s Programme, Professor Arturo Silva, and Professor Rodrigo Pérez. The objective of the visit is to learn about the following aspects: Mission and responsibilities of ETSI Navales The different training programmes offered by ETSI Navales The facilities that support the Military Naval Engineering Master programme.
