Reflecting on some of my favorite dialogue I wrote for The Dream Is Dead in #RPGMakerJam. Despite Koma not knowing who the figure representing her deceased "father" even is, she's still emotionally torn up. Suddenly this dream-diving therapist becomes her own subject!

While we didn't crack the top two entries, we won Best Music and runner-up for Best Gameplay in #RPGMakerJam! Both of these were very collaborative efforts and the result of working someone with very different tastes than me. No top 2 sucks but the competition was tough and I'm happy with this!

The Dream is Dead placed 9th in Theme, 10th Overall, 12th in Gameplay, 20th in Engagement, and 27th in Presentation. All categories scored 4.2 except Gamplay which scored 4.0 and Presentation which scored 4.4.

@lumitdog.bsky.social and I's beautimous dream diving daughter Koma has placed 10th overall in #RPGMakerJam and 9th in theme as voted by the community. Judge results aren't out yet and that's the big decider, but at the very least I thank all of you who voted. This won't be the last you see of her
