Streetartwall. A large hare has been painted on the outside of a rural property in the style of an unusual charcoal drawing. It is about biodiversity under the influence of humans. The colors of the mural are reduced to shades of beige, green and gray. The work shows a large hare accompanied by fantastic, small, flying wild boars with bee wings. The hare is sitting in the grass, its head slightly tilted and its gaze directed backwards. An unusual depiction, but one that stands out due to the detailed brushstrokes, e.g. on the fur (the photo shows a meadow and a goat standing in front of a high fence).
Info: The mural was painted on land that once belonged to Léon Belly, a painter of the Orientalist movement. The work commemorates the environmental damage caused by the release of the myxomatosis virus by Paul-Félix Armand-Delille. In the 1950s, rabbits were decimated and local biodiversity was affected.

Streetartwall. An impressive black and white mural with the head of a ferret was sprayed/painted on the lower floor of a house wall in the city center. The animal is depicted in great detail in shades of gray with black surroundings. A fox-like animal with small eyes, a small dog nose, round ears and a friendly facial expression. Even four distribution boxes were painted over and integrated into the mural. The depiction of the detailed hair of the fluffy fur and the friendly nature of the animal are wonderfully successful.
Info: The mural was on the 2nd, smaller wall of the "Mur du Marais" streetart walls. These two walls are constantly being repainted by international artists. Some works are only on display for a few days.
