The Cold Rugleo, Twisted Wonderland, Mature --- Ruggie’s breath catches in his throat. He was supposed to be in for a shift today. Surely it should be coming around soon? Ruggie can’t remember what time it was supposed to be, and he doesn’t know what time it is now either. This is bad. He needs the money, and he needs to be on time, because getting there late will make him leave late, and then Leona will get on his tail for not bringing its dinner at the usual time, and… And Ruggie lifts his head again. He looks at the hand that’s not tied up to weird bags and tubs. He tries to move a finger. He can’t feel his arm at all, but he sees it moving. It takes effort and plenty of determination, but Ruggie manages to move his hand to his chest. He hooks his thumb under the sheet to lift it. Oh. If Ruggie’s body wasn’t already so cold, he’d be able to say his blood ran cold. There’s another green layer under the sheet, covering everything from below his nipples. Ruggie can see something that must have been the sleeve hole… But it’s hard to say for sure. And, in the middle of the fabric, there’s a huge stain, dark brown with burgundy edges. --- JustALilHime
