I really enjoyed the ✨glamour✨ of Reverie, but it was a bit frustrating reading the characters having the same arguments, forgiving each other a couple sentences later, only to go back to arguing. A lot of this book happens cyclically, from the characters actions to the Reveries themselves. Every now and then a wrench gets thrown in the works which leads to some interesting improv from our protagonists.

I think it’s smart having the characters aware of common tropes in stories and using that to their advantage in altered world. There are some very fun turns throughout, I think it just drags a little more than intended. I like Ryan La Sala, and I think his novels get better with each new story 3/5

It's always neat going back to read an author's first book. #Reverie by Ryan La Sala sets a strong foundation without leaning too much into the horror that his future novels take. It's fun, glamourous, and worth checking out! #fantasy #bookreview #YAnovel #RyanLaSala

Author Ryan LaSala has a writing style that reminds me of sitting on a sunny porch in July and eating fresh biscuits dripping with grape jelly. I want to crawl inside Ryan's brain and live there.

🤩📚💙

Review of the Honeys by Ryan La Sala the book is dark emotional reflective medium paste is it plot or character driven a mix does it have strong character development yes lovable characters yes diverse cast of characters yes are the flaws of the characters and main focus yes this is a five-star review this is the book that turned Ryan la sala into an autobiother for me the exploration of grief both for a dead loved one and who we used to be before life caught up to us make this not just well written horror but also an emotional story of the price of nostalgia and not letting go when we should a must read for lovers of cerebral psychological horror.

Ryan, this is truly one of the most heartbreakingly beautiful books I have ever read. Your work is absolutely unparalleled, I can't wait to read more!
