Methotrexate is under utilised in renal medicine . discuss #renal #sarcoid. I do have a cohort of doctors patients with renal sarcoid on weekly mtx. Well tolerated and minimal side effects. Certainly require more monitoring compared to MMF or azathioprine.
4. For the last 15 years I have had chronic pain and fatigue due to #sarcoidosis #sarcoid , which affects my lungs, skin, lymphatic system, eyes, joints and nervous system. But not my determination, sense of adventure or curiosity. 😎
