While he was bullied by his fellow tribe members due his father being a Keeper, he was raised by his loving mother, Y'tchakha.

Aetheryte travel is a complicated thing. Despite possessing more anima than the regular person, Y'sato only uses aetherytes when things are urgent or his presence is requested with haste.
He also prefers to be in the presence of an aetheryte for the safest and most stable travel.

I feel like sharing some of my Satoraha songs. This first one I listened to while writing Shatter and encapsulates Y’sato’s emotions really well when G’raha sealed himself away.

Y'sato is strong, willing to give it all even in the face of death. A hard lesson he learned during his exile. Is how he survived his battle with his first primal, Ifrit, although by the skin of his teeth
If not for Thancred's assistance he would have surely died right then and there.

Y’sato doesn’t snore too often, but when he does it’s a sign he’s exhausted.
Likewise for G’raha and usually when sleeping on his back.
Both have more gentle snores, and if Y’sato drools on top of it, it’s a sign he’s truly relaxed.

Y'sato's first encounter with a primal left a lasting mark. One of Ifrit's molten claws struck Y'sato, the resulting burn something that nearly killed him, and it would if not for Thancred's intervention.

I have a head cannon that miqo'te is susceptible to certain toxins. Especially neuro toxins so a cocktail potent like a morbols would bring Y'sato down, and he would feel shitty for days.
Even a small whiff of it will affect him, although to a lesser degree. Something I explore

Y'sato's eyes are a bright teal. How they come across depends a little on the light. He was born with this color, inherited it from his mother. He took mostly after her, appearing as any regular Sun Seeker at first glance.

Y'sato does snore, but is a soft, gentle thing. It highly depends on his position too as well as how exhausted he is. He tends to snore when lying on his back.
G'raha doesn't mind, usually.
And if it gets too bothersome a gentle nudge usually fixes it.

Day 28: Fear
Y’sato has no love for Morbols. In truth he has great reason to fear them. So when he first laid eyes on the strain found in Garlemald he almost froze to the spot.
One singular thought flitted through his mind in that moment.

Day 14: Melee
Considering himself well versed in the arts of the shinobi and bladework, Y'sato took to the great sword used by the Dark Knight faster than he expected in HW, although not without struggle.
Still it was worth it. Anything to strengthen his melee capabilities.

Due to his exile, as well as being alone on the road during ARR, Y'sato knows basic first aid. He knows how to stop a wound from bleeding and to wrap a good bandage. He also makes sure to carry antidotes on his person at all times
He's the one who tended to G'raha here.

Day 11: Burden
Sometimes when the burden of being the WoL becomes too much Y'sato seeks solitude. Not for not wanting company. Often he seeks G'raha's, the twins, Thancred's or Y'shtola's counsel, but sometimes he just needs to be.

Day 6: Disguise
Having to traverse the Footfalls whenever he needed to report back to Minfilla in Vesper Bay was a difficult time for Y'sato, especially knowing his former tribe members like Y'vanih could ever watch from the shadows.

Y'sato isn't fond of coffee. He can drink it but while suppressing a grimace. He's not much of a sweet tooth and he dislikes chocolate, so vegetable juice was his choice. Besides It is bound to have his favorite fruit mixed into it, aka oranges.
He can often be found drinking juice.
