I just spent one of the most exciting weeks in Lisbon. This was my first #SatSummit, and I got to meet my @developmentseed.org crew for our team week! I had a great time with fantastic people in one of the most beautiful cities in Europe!

Back home from #SatSummit 🛰️ and I still need to process all the amazing information and conversations. Without a doubt, it’s the best forum for no BS dialogue in the industry. Also Lisbon just may be the most charming city in the world. 🤩

Global conflicts hurt not only people but also the environment, which is the invisible victim of conflict. "We are trying to make this visible using EO." We need satellites with humanitarian-only missions, with data that are open, sharable, and accessible using cloud-native standards. #SatSummit

As always, curious what the gender breakdown was @sat_summit. I'd guess female rep was ~25% which would be pretty high for a tech conference (sadly). Felt welcoming to me & seemed more diverse then tech would have been 5 yrs ago. @alyssapwright any thoughts from you? #SatSummit
