20 years I've worked for a TRIO SSS program and seen what it does for student success. We aren't programs who "engage in woke idealogy", we're not a "relic" and the demographic we serve sure as hell still have obstacles to obtaining #highered and deserve the academic support we provide. #savetrio

Cutting TRIO is going to hurt kids right here in SWVA. I just spoke with a high school senior from rural Va, who didn't think that college was possible or even that she'd be able to handle dual-enrollment classes. Because of TRIO, she's been named a presidential scholar at Virginia Tech. #SaveTRiO
