The heavy volcanic basalts and gabro take a batterimg from the awesome power of the Hebridean Sea / Atlantic Ocean many millions of years after being created from the earths core and then sculptured by glacial activity. Here they sit calmly awaiting the next incoming storm as we look out from Portuairk to Sanna Point on remote West Ardnamurchan.
