Broke out the #oilpaints for the first time in years to do a quick(ish) value study, using a chromatic black (burnt sienna, ultramarine blue and ivory black). Then a bright turquoise background because I neeeeeeed colour. 😅

Merlin, my fierce little dragon 🐉 I believe the right dogs come into our lives when they are meant to. This scruffy little pup came into my life unexpectedly while I was grieving the devastating loss of my GSD soul dog. Frankly, Merlin rescued me as much as I rescued him.
