#seaplum ig in my 'verse' the ejinn live near waters with bioluminescent bacteria and when said waters are swum in, the bacteria adheres itself onto ones skin/the grooves and indents of ones scales and such. the bacteria isnt harmful or anything but it tends to be stubborn and not die out for vvvv

you dont really get a lot of au ra with special scale coloration, tho its bc of this that she feels singled out sometimes
