Not doing #FOTU this year (various reasons incl price and the queues for coffee) so instead ‘priority’ job of wiring in USB & sockets into the #Tipo 😝
Why didn’t #FIAT fit a switchable 12v feed?! Relay & switch wired in so I can turn it off if my wiring goes a bit Italian too…

After getting the Radio & CD changer to work I definitely need to get some new speakers for the #Tipo 🤣

Now whether to go for fitting my old 90s/00s Amp and Subwoofer in the boot too... Might wire things in while most the interior is out 🧐

A very mucky and disintegrating fuel pump assembly

Nasty old rubber

Says Fispa on it but nothing else helpful… in two parts helpfully. Guessing it’s a breather for the filler neck.

Yeah that’s had it…

Anyone a breather valve kicking about that would work? Can get the pump assembly no problem but not the cheap little part!

Opinion time… started rubbing back the #Sedici alloys. They should be diamond cut but can’t afford to do that yet so… stick with plain silver, do silver with grey highlights (that were red) or go for anthracite with darker highlights?

Going to say this is a lot of progress!
Getting everything reconnected after being in pieces since 2018/19. Checked the cambelt was still in one bit & risked turning it over… & the oil pressure light even went out!

If not how do you bleed the ABS pump as it’s too early (pre OBD) to plug in and cycle? It does have a port & ECU but think it’s pre any OBD type. Can’t start the car either as no fuel tank still and a very ancient cambelt but does the ABS prime off the engine or electric system?

Anyone on #WeirdCarBS any experience of brakes on a Tipo #sedicivalvole with ABS?
Not sure if it’s air, faulty seals on master cylinder or the ABS pump getting a groaning when pushing pedal down (soft) but no air when bleeding.
Not been used for a long time so seals?
