What a wonderful night at Square One in Coventry talking about #StudioGhibli for #SeedTalks to an audience with some fascinating questions. Will the global spread of anime change it? How does Miyazaki really feel about futuristic tech? What's my favourite Studio Ghibli film?
Life is a snowball fight pelting me with events between now and Christmas, and I'm revelling in it like a child with a pile of ammo and licence to throw. A packed weekend, then off to #Coventry on Tuesday (first time since my #StarTrek conrunning days) to celebrate #StudioGhibli with #SeedTalks
The #SeedTalks team made sure both the audience and I were looked after, and as a result we all had a great time. So much about a successful presentation is down to the crew, the venue and the audience. They enable my best work and I am always mindful of that, and thankful for it.

Interior and stage, Maddermarket Theatre.
The Maddermarket Theatre in Norwich started life as an old chapel before becoming a theatre in the 1920s. It's set in a courtyard where the black-and-white timbered front blends beautifully with the old buildings around it.
