The famous Route 66 starting point sign in downtown Chicago. It reads “Route 66: Historic Route Begins Here.” The sign and post have stickers and graffiti. It’s also VERY challenging to get to! After circling the block 5 times, I parked a block away in a loading zone, took my chances, and rushed as fast as I could to snap my photo.
