Just for some perspective on LEGAL immigration. Canada just sent their immigrants - I know, because I got the email - a list of free settlement services (language training, employment info, community building, etc.) available to us to make us feel welcome. THAT'S how you should treat people that pay thousands of dollars, fill out mountains of paperwork, have medical exams/background checks run on them, wait years to get in, AND pay taxes to live in your country. Not arrest/deport them without due process, threaten there's more coming, and/or make them feel unsafe. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk. 🫡
