I’ve recently talked about this. Mera’s nickname is Mera. A nickname she’s always had since birth. Her actual name is Jannah, Arabic for heaven. I’ve given her two names similar to how I have two names in my own culture and also just because I can.

Yes, she adores it when people play with her hair! She finds it so relaxing. She often lets children play with her hair, similar to that one scene in Rapunzel. In return, she braids their hair with their favorite flower. It’s her way of showing love to others.

I've been a big fan of Kari and Gatomon since I was a kid. So naturally, Mera's digimon partner would be Gatomon and their entire evolution line! Angewomon is also a huge inspiration for Mera.

Mera would be a dove. Symbolizing freedom, purity, hope, and love. Technically, she is one since that's my FC's tag lol. I guess I could blame the FC for making me associate Mera with this bird now.

Raised as a performer just like her mother, Mera can play the hand harmonium and sitar. She learned to play as a way to make ends meet before becoming a con artist. She now occasionally plays them whenever she needs to relax her mind.
They all converge on one point, and when the last one reaches, the entire arena collapses into a black hole, where the screen goes black and the music suddenly stops.

Peak character design! And it's a girl with markings on her body. Anyways I wanted to share that Mera would also have markings on her body similar to this but only during combat whenever she has fray/her reaper avatar out. Now I just need to figure out her own sort of pattern🤔

This manga panel from Vinland Saga is the biggest inspiration to Mera's character. I wanted to make a character that wanted to become a better version of herself and Mera is that character. She's grown from a destructive person from when I first made her to a protector.

I am a chronic hair changer, so it really just depends on my mood and the gpose. There's obviously more hairstyles I use for Mera on the regular now compared to when I made this.

Mera wishes for a longer life. She’s afraid of death, scared of what comes after. She’d probably sacrifice her own sanity if it means she can be with her beloved forevermore. Yet, she’s learned to accept death after learning about the Yok Huy beliefs in grief and remembrance.

"Guardian Angel" - I like the blend between the heavenly/ethereal aesthetic centered around Mera with her grief. A beautiful contrast to her serene nature and her bittersweet acceptance towards death. She's a tragic character but she's beautiful and dignified till the end.

I don't know how a scale works for this. Assuming 10 being instant, Mera would steal that LB immediately as soon as it's available as melee. She's not letting any dancer steal it from her 😤
