An asphalt covered walking path runs bisects a deciduous forest. The leaves on the trees are fully green, while a few red and yellow dry leaves are scattered over the pavement.
September 1st has never felt like fall to me. Turns out, according to the ecological calendar, the sarotinal season is roughly mid-August to mid-September. The weather tends to be dryer, leaves start turning colors, and birds prepare for migration.
