Baklava has come back home to me today. Surprised he needed to be in the larger Bassett Hound cookie jar. The vet clinic charged $630 to come here, 40 miles roundtrip, inestitize and cremate. Paid my driver $100 to pick up ashes for me.

He was hurting, crying, asking me to end it, but I wasn't thinking about my soul when I made the call to have the vet come, put him down, and haul his lifeless body away.
I dont think I could ever do this again to my soul.
The pain is excruciating.
Heart broken.
Mind numb.
