His friends sometimes know his feelings better than he does himself, but Seungmin is definitely aware that he's happy that he made the decision to ask Hyunjin out, and not only because they went to a baseball game and got filmed by the kiss cam. Seungmin may have looked at the video a dozen times already, looking at the way Hyunjin’s eyes light up like his own did when they noticed themselves on the big screen, and then looking at the way Hyunjin’s eyes lingered on him after. It makes Seungmin’s stomach flip even thinking back on it, and it makes him wonder whether Hyunjin does that more often, looking at him with fond eyes when Seungmin isn't looking, but they're not even dating a month yet, so at the baseball game was probably the only time. He at least knows that Hyunjin loved the video as well since they text frequently, even when they also see each other in class.

Before he knows it, there's a knock on the door, and Seungmin shoots up. He ignores Jeongin's snickers and opens the door. Hyunjin looks nice as always, but he isn't wearing anything from which Seungmin can deduce what they'll be doing or where they'll be going. He has a backpack with him, but that has been the case every time so far. “Do you have your swimming trunks anyway?” Hyunjin asks with an amused smile. “That’s fine, in case you don't like my idea.” “Still being cryptic, huh,” Seungmin comments. “Oh well, I'm prepared as always.” “I like that about you,” Hyunjin compliments easily, as if it's nothing, and while Seungmin thinks he should be used to it by now, it still makes him blush. “Let’s go, we're taking the bus again.” Seungmin follows and he can’t figure where they're going judging from which bus they're taking. Hyunjin probably sees him squinting, because he laughs. “It’s a fifteen minute walk from where we're getting off,” he shares, and Seungmin hums thoughtfully. “The woods?” Seungmin guesses, and Hyunjin’s expression twists, so he knows he's close, but he doesn't know the woods very well. “Is there a lake to swim in? Or is there something else I may or may not need my swimming trunks for?” “I won't say anything!” Hyunjin stubbornly crosses his arms and Seungmin finds it cute.
