Been watching Stargate SG- the last couple of weeks. I've come to one of my favorite episodes, Citizen Joe.

Himalayan glaciers have lost nearly 27 metres of ice thickness since 1975, and the rate of melting has doubled since 2000. Yet only seven glaciers in the entire region meet global monitoring standards.
