Drawing of a stylised ceramic bird - its body is rounded, no legs are visible. Oil pastel - shades of yellow, green, orange, blue are laid down then covered with black. The black is scraped back to reveal the colours underneath. Various crosshatching mark making reveals feather patterns, a spotted breast and wing, and a black eye. The outcome looks a little like a wood/linocut print.
