A little #shadowsmark lore ref for Ebony. Probably the more basic expectation out of the others. Caelux is the most connected with nature and life cycles amongst the other Ramashi branches.
"Magic" is referred to as Vitura in Shadow's Mark. Vitura is the life energy that all living things carry.

I colored the slightly adjusted beast design to see how ugly it is. He's the creature of folklore used to scare children into staying out of trouble. Ebony knows the rhymes but didn't grow up in the shadow of the Exumbras. They were purged from Sarutia a century ago.

Some #shadowsmark dialogue drawings I made over the last few weeks. I used to manually manage speech bubbles in PS after just throwing them poorly on paper. Practicing how these are supposed to be set and how to work the tools in Clip. The shoutbox is not feeling right, I need a bolder STOP.

The blue items are a charmed necklace bearing a crescent moon and "evil eye" beads, below it a small wooden dagger with calendula drawings burned into the handle. The yellow dagger is depicted as normal and activated enchantment in blue.
I've been holding on to these #shadowsmark props for over a year. I've added some recently and will add more. These are overly detailed items the characters wear to help me later. Ebony's dagger has a charm that repels harmful energies on contact with a blue flame✨️.

A shady character (Razor) hides behind the woman (Ebony) trapped in his grip, who is feeling uncomfortable. His left hand is placed under her cheek, the other with the clawed fingers visible on her right arm.
Ebony is the main protagonist, an unfortunate medicine woman who got herself wrapped up with a social outcast working for a shady foriegn government official. They struck a deal, now she's forced to help him while trying to maintain her sense of self and protect her people.

The end of the animation for this guy needs more time, he's not designed for animation.
So instead, have an updated colored concept for Razor's beast design. I gave him some dragon parts to match other elements he has had for years. Yes, he can have fire-breath.
