“You keep answering everything I ask you.” Zyon stated. “And I can only assume you’re being honest.” 9 was quiet for a little before looking ahead. His eyes scanned over the factory, taking in the vastness—though it did not match the original’s. Not by a chance. “…I’m just like that, I guess.” He answered with a vague shrug. “I don’t have anything to hide.” Zyon humphed, and he stood. He stared down at 9. “Shameless, then.” 9 shrugged again. He glanced down, and closed his eyes. Any semblance of panic that started to rise up quickly faded when he had thought back to the night before, how quiet everything was, and warm…the way 5 smiled at him. “I guess so.” He murmured. “…You have someone.” “Yes.” “The one with the bird mask?” “No.” Zyon seemed perplexed. “Then who else…” and then he stopped, and thought. “…That medic.” He was in disbelief. “The one-eyed one.” “Yes.” Zyon scoffed, and then he laughed. “That one?!” He waved a hand in dismissal, and he began to trek up to the conveyer belt. “I had no idea your creator was of that disposition.” 9 glanced away. “I can’t say…I’m not him.” “So…what?” Zyon scoffed as he opened the control panel’s wiring. “You love him?” He asked, his eyes rolling at emphasis. 9 closed his eyes. “…Yes. I do.” Zyon yet again laughed. “What? You love him, kiss, you make love, all those wonderful romantic things?” “Yes.” Zyon howled with laughter that time. He looked at 9, incredulous. “How in the hell do you manage that?!” He gestured vaguely before returning to his work. “The concept of two men alone is already nonsensical enough…” “What does it matter?” 9 returned, still even-tempered. “If it doesn’t concern you, or interfere with your plans, then why ask?” Zyon waved dismissively before needing both hands to work. “It’s a matter of principle, really…not that you would have a concept of anything like that.”
