Nottingham born Simon House. Best known for his work with British space rock pioneers Hawkwind for whome he joined in 1974 and stayed with them for some of their most reknowned albums up untill 1977 then he left for David Bowie's band in 1978.

RIP Simon House. One of the few members of Hawkwind who didn't seem a) musically incompetent, b) a total dick. Also, as a member of High Tide, he could never do wrong by me. Apparently he was also part of Bowie's band in the 70s, but that was at least a well-paid gig.
