Today: Sunday, March 29, 2026 until 3:00 PM is the official Opening Day of "Balance" - Art in the Wild 2026 at Wildwood Park [100 Wildwood Way, Harrisburg, PA 17110]. We're just one of the artists available to meet-and-greet, share information, and/or photo opportunities during today's Opening Day!
We've done so much work and are so excited to meet you at our installation entitled "Tree[house] Pose" located at Site #9 as you're walking the trail today! Site #9 is almost smack-dab in the center of things on the Wildwood Lake side of Wildwood Way Trail!! If you leave the Nature Center heading north toward the Spillway, we're a little over half a mile on the right side of the trail!

![We have had several posts and shared a lot of information about our artwork at Wildwood Park; but, one thing we didn't share is that we received first place from the Guest Evaluator Shawn Williams! Last Friday evening we attended the Artist's Reception where this announcement was made and on Sunday a first place ribbon was delivered to our site. We're so honored and happy to receive this recognition!!
Two other pieces of information yet to be shared are the answer to our most asked question on Sunday... "How long / How many hours did it take to complete this?" We spent some time crunching the numbers earlier this week and total working time was about 21.5 hours. The other is we've completed the entire time lapse recording sequence from blank site to completed art installation in about 5 minutes with is available to be viewed at: https://youtu.be/iFP-lhQ2iVY
Artist's Statement / Backstory: Each year I revisit the goals, mission, values, vision, and other documents to ensure they align with what's been accomplished and where the business will be going. In early 2025 I wrote the goal: "WIN AN AWARD!" [in all caps just like you see it here]. I knew writing the goal would be a lot easier than completing it; but, here we are! I was absolutely shocked when the slideshow concluded with the slide you're seeing as today's image!

We're just one of the artists available to meet-and-greet, share information, and/or photo opportunities during today's Opening Day! Site #8 is almost smack-dab in the center of things on the Wildwood Lake side of Wildwood Way Trail!! If you leave the Nature Center heading north toward the Spillway, we're a little over half a mile on the left side of the trail! You should not have too much difficulty being able to spot our installation, with its glowing neon orange hubs / nods, in the installation.
