Two people are sawing on a one and a half foot diameter downed tree. They are standing at one edge of a gravel road. One person has a silky saw, which is a brand of folding saw and the other is tapping in wedges made from broken branches. The wedges are holding the gap that is being sawn open to keep the saw moving freely.

The two people are still sawing on one end of the log. Two others are standing on a fallen sapling that is being used to support one end of the log that is being cut. Another person in waders has a battery powered sawzall and is cutting the log about 12 feet down the log from the other two people. Once the log is cut in two places, it was still wedged together.

A pickup is tied to the log which has been sawn through in both places and is pulling it out of the middle of the road.
