One lined paper: a serious of drawing wherein the artist tries and fails to draw a Cossack

Two Strelets nearly touch noses while above the artist realizes it is not as simple as English legs Western upper body. Слава Україні Yea the Russians russified (ruined) the Strelets but they didn’t get the mountain ponies!

Cossack in saddle. The upper body looks so familiar but the legs! The human knee! It’s pressed in not turned out like usual. Somewhere between hip and knee it goes from Western to Cossack but back to familiar Western by the ankles

So I foolishly thought it would be easy to draw Cossacks in saddle because the saddle looks more Western than English and the upper body is aggressively Western, but it is not the case.
