I am trying to be more brave about sharing my stuff since i would like to hopefully participate in an open mic night sometime. and its good practice for me!

I almost felt something today— when sunlight hit the floor just right. But the moment passed, and so did I, onto the next nothing. Wake. Scroll. Sleep. Input command: continue. I blinked, and the spell broke. The light moved on, and so did I— toward the laundry, toward the list, toward the thousand small tasks that make up a day without meaning. I eat. I clean. I answer. I nod. Not really living— just surviving. They ask, "How are you?" And I say, "Fine," because how do you explain that you’re here, but fading? That you're upright, but unraveling in silence? Almost. It’s the closest I get to alive.
