After graduating from Royal Holloway College, London she worked for several years as a lecturer and a copywriter until she finally took a fateful leap into writing. Since then, her fiction has appeared in various magazines and anthologies in the UK, USA, Australia, Singapore and Malaysia, such as Asian Monsters from Fox Spirit Books, and Kaleidotrope magazine.
