Lucile Herd, a demon weapon from France, is the newest holder of the Eternal Soul, meaning she will have the same lifespan as non-humans. (100-1000+ years.) Lord Death requests the Herd family send her to Death City, Nevada, so that he can guide her in her studies as both a weapon and the bearer of the Eternal Soul, meaning that she will also be tasked with recording modern human history, as the future longest living human. However, there is an issue and that is that she is a bit lazy, and doesn’t really have a concept of time, as a near eternal human. She meets her childhood best friend, Death the Kid, who is almost the complete opposite, loving order and being organized. Kid is always on her butt about keeping all her records organized and updated. What they have is a friendship, or is it just friendship…?
