Worked on my entry for #spiderpotion3k this weekend, and I’m so glad it’s completed~ 🥹 Was a challenge, as I experimented with using cray-pas. 😅 Btw, I interpreted this as Alastor trying to relieve the burdens off his King, who’s been in pain for so long. 👑💧❣️

A traditionally drawn artwork using Ink, Copic, Pencil Crayon, and Acrylic Paint on 160lb textured paper. Then finished off with digital to add the red background. Alastor and Lucifer are about to fully embrace in a passionate kiss. Their mouths are open and their tongues are reaching out, about to touch. Both have tears in the corners of their eyes as they are overcome with emotion for each other. Both are naked and Lucifer sits in a straddling pose on Alastor's lap who is in a kneeling sitting position. Lucifer's heart spade tail is raised and is woven around them tightly holding them as close together as possible. Lucifer has one arm wrapped around and his hand is just visible as it touches the back of Alastor's neck. With his other hand he is running his finger's through Alastor's hair. Alastor's antler's are large and fully extended. Alastor is lovingly cradling and caressing Lucifer's cheek, while his other hand holds an ornate crown belonging to Lucifer. It has a gold snake as its base with ruby jewel eyes and three golden forked piers, also adorned with red jewels. There is also a jewelled apple nestled in the side of the crown. A stylized circle is behind the couple bringing focus to the crown in Alastor's hand, it is green with an intertwined woven border. The circle fades into dripping gold where there are large droplets on the ground.

I had a lot of fun with this, experimenting with all the different mediums in my art toolbox, as well as, this pose. It was extremely challenging!
