Backstory! - Alan and Charlotte both have known one another since they were tweens/early teens - Their families used to feud especially over the land - The Surume family (Alan's) are the louder, obnoxious hicks while the O'Yongo family (Charlotte's) are more mild-mannered yet hardworkers in creating a community at the countryside - Despite the beef, the two develop feelings for one another and eventually marry *shotgun wedding* as Charlotte was carrying Alan's child aka Cullen - Because of her teen pregnancy, Charlotte's parents disowned her and had her move in with Alan - Knowing his side, they built a farmhouse as a wedding gift so he and Charlotte raise their son together - Despite on her parents' disapproval, Charlotte was used to the idea of being a mother and wanted to try again for baby no.2 with Alan yet unfortunately, she had suffered a miscarriage so the shock of losing a baby/egg had her hesitant to give her son a younger sibling - When Alice was born/hatched, she was very sickly to the point she almost pass away due to Charlotte's constant stress as she was scared to lose another baby - Not wanting to make his wife sad nor losing his daughter, Alan would hold alot of charity concerts to help with the medicine so Alice can survive which he successfully did - Unfortunately, at just 2 years old, Alice lost her father in a horrific car accident and caused a ripple effect - Cullen, her brother, became super depressed over losing his dad so he decided to leave the family farm out of cope, leading to abandoning his mother and little sister - Despite the sudden collapse of the family of 4, left only 2 which Charlotte did most of the raising so her daughter has a bright future and the two has the strongest mother-daughter bond! (Sorry if it's kinda sloppy and overly dramatic...x.x Trying to make some sense...^^;)
