Me with Jagmeet Singh at the airport in Ottawa, Ontario.

Flew to Ottawa today and there was a political celebrity a few rows up from me on the plane. Mr. Singh was graceful with all the people who wanted to say hi to him. A huge number of people on the plane were elected officials on their way to the Fed of Canadian Munis convention in Ottawa. #sqpoli

A shadow study image capture from a report regarding 38201 Westway Avenue in Squamish, BC.

On Jan. 7 Squamish Council voted 4-3 (Hurford, Stoner & Andersen) to send a 5-storey apartment proposal back for further evaluation. My top concern is the shading impacts on the townhouses next door. Developments in Valleycliffe can't rob neighbouring properties of evening sun. #sqpoli

What’s the value of sunshine? Residents in a Squamish, BC townhouse development are soon going to find out as a five-storey apartment building is proposed next door and if it goes ahead it will block evening sun to much of the complex in the spring, summer and fall. #sqpoli
