-Steve,Robin, and Eddie move to NYC, Will follows suit within the year. They end up living in the same apartment building. -Steve still becomes a coach and sex ed teacher, but he fights tooth and nail to get proper curriculum about AIDS & the AIDS crisis. Helping people stay safe and trying to ease/erase some of the stigma and false, fear mongering information. Not only inspired by himself, but also his friends and boyfriend Eddie. Will and Eddie both cry, absolutely moved. -Robin goes to school for linguistics, becomes an interpreter. She does minor in music, because she does enjoy that too. She eventually becomes world renowned, using her language skills for all sorts of stuff. Funny enough, her and Nancyโs paths start crossing a lot. They eventually start dating. But not before Robin talks to Steve all panicked. He finds it hilarious. -Will goes to school for art, eventually opening his own gallery. Helps lesser known/new artists get discovered. He gets to properly explore his sexuality and self expression. One day he meets the cutest, nicest man. -Eddie becomes a music teacher, having decided he doesnโt want to chase fame. But he still makes music and occasionally does gigs. Steve is there whenever he can be, his number one supporter. -When gay marriage becomes legal in Massachussets in 2004, Eddie proposes. They get married shortly after. In 2015 when it became legal in all of the US, they got married again.
-Eddie and Steve buy a nice sized house. They want kids but know how difficult itโd be for them to adopt or anything. Robin offers to be a surrogate. They have 2 girls. One looks like Steve and the other looks like Eddie. They name one daughter Elizabeth after Eddieโs mom. Call her Liz for short. The other daughter named Jane after El. Hopper, usually a tough guy, sobs when they tell him. They did tell Will before, wanting to make sure he had no plans to use that name. -Later on, he has a daughter named Elaine Robin. El for short. Hopper cries again. Robin bawls. Will and Robin have a strong friendship. He gets close with Eddie and Steve too. His found queer family. -Mike struggles for a while, but eventually finds his way. Becomes a writer. Writing books for children to adults. Some are D&D inspired. After a lot of introspection and getting happy again for himself, he unexpectedly finds love. A wonderful woman adds to his happiness and helps him grow even more. They have a son, they make his middle name Will. -Max and Lucas stay strong, he becomes a top NBA player. After lots of hard work, Max opens a center for troubled youth. Has licensed therapists and counselors. After her rocky childhood and everything with Billy, she wants to help other kids. Also a safe place for LGBTQIA+.
