King size Stack n Whack. Fabric from Hawaii.

My pantograph hibiscus design. The backing fabric was so wrong for this quilt because I used yellow thread for the quilting. I love purple but you can see every mistake I made. This section doesn’t have many but there are plenty in the rest of it.

Had to add more to the backing. You can tell the difference in the backs and why busy backs are best.

The heart button is where I sewed the binding together. The binding was made from leftover focus fabric sewn end to end instead of diagonally. I had the exactly right amount of binding. That’s never happened before in my 25+ years of quilting which is why it’s the Miracle Quilt.

I finished this quilt last Saturday and put the label on today. At one point I was ready to throw it away or even burn it because there were so many mistakes. I finally finished it and am really glad I did. I’m calling it my Miracle Quilt. #quilt #stackandwhackquilt #ilovepurple
