Artist’s statement: I did a pencil sketch (not shown) of the Mandalorian last week using a Retro Collection action figure as my visual source. I drew Mando much like a previous illustration I did of him: simple and muscular. I wanted to stay away from realism with this iteration of Mando. Mondays can be rough. I want to invoke a fantasy world that fans of The Manadorian can enjoy. I used my drawing as a template and completed the illustration using Macromedia FreeHand MX today.
