My all time favorite garden bird, the long-tailed tit. They are just such cute little fluffballs, their beaks so tiny it´s almost ridiculous. Had to paint these little critters in my Steamline Journal!
Watercolor and a bit of colored pencil

A Steamline journal laying open on a wooden undergrund. On the top right a part of a watercolor palette is peeping in, laying on the top corner of the sketchbook. There are two brushes on each side of the book too. On the pages a pair of barnacle goose can be seen in a reddish green grassy landscape, with rocks in the background. On the left page are two small drawings of plants endemic to Svalbard.

Two pages from my Steamline Journal. A pair of barnacle geese I witnessed when on Svalbard a while ago.
