Herald Leader does seem to have a preference for simply reprinting words verbatim with little fact checking and otherwise give their favorite celebrity politicians (typically Republicans) plenty of positive hype as this piece does in the closing paragraphs.

Meanwhile here in KY, our legislators have more or less forced the state's utilities to use coal and nuclear and abandon renewable projects. While the press coverage on the issue was one sided and pathetic, mainly just reprinting GOP talking points.
