This is a photo of of St Govan's Chapel in Pembrokeshire, Wales taken from below. Built into the side of a limestone cliff, the majority of the chapel was built in the thirteenth century, although parts of it are thought to date back to the sixth century, when Saint Govan (a monk) moved into a cave located on the site of the chapel. You get to it by climbing down 52 steps from the Wales Coast Path. The photo was taken in April 2025 and the chapel can be seen between two high cliffs. The sky is bright blue and cloudless, and a bird of prey is flying above the chapel.
